I was reminded of this when talking with some of my dearest friends, and they mentioned remembering me having them try out games (Oblivion or something) and having the WORST time trying to use my unholy abomination of a mouse. This was the original. A thing of beauty.

Back in the day, I exclusively used this huge, off-set trackball mouse. Loved it for a decade, but it finally bit the dust. When I looked for an identical one, there were none, so I've used a "normal" mouse for the last 8 or so years. But then I looked again...and the style is back and improved!

"Oh don't worry, I'm unaffected by the AI we used. It only affected the people I don't give a shit about." Gal, are you sure they didn't replace your performance with a lifeless, flat AI replacement? I'm not sure I could tell the difference...
An AV Club article snippet, showing an image of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and the great paragraph which says:

Gal Gadot may be done with Wonder Woman, but she has crypto and artificial intelligence in her future. In fact, the unholy marriage of those two things—an AI-assisted movie called Bitcoin from director Doug Liman and actors Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson, and Isla Fisher—is next on Gadot’s docket. The AI use, Gadot says on her recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, is strictly to replace below-the-line workers like set and lighting workers. “As far as the performances, it’s all me,” Gadot says.

I think I've spent more time tinkering with and getting deep into SO MANY VTTs than most anyone I know. I've sunk hundreds of hours each into Foundry, Roll20, and Alchemy. But god damn if I keep just coming back to Owlbear Rodeo. Just having all the info for everyone is just...so perfect.

Don't get me wrong, they were still like...pretty tasty, but biting into a burrito and pulling out a big broccoli floret is weird as shit. I know most menus are built around meats, but it isn't THAT hard to come up with some decent, cheap alternatives that aren't a fucking California veggie medley

Had to step outside to take out the garbage and take care of a couple things for less than a minute, and genuinely I already feel the effects a little (doesn't help I have some minor lingering lung issues). If you're in the smokey areas, be careful. This crap is no joke!

We've had Verizon In-Home 5G internet for a couple years now, no complaints. It's been smooth as could be. The last month or two, it has been BAD. Real bad. We look, and oh, hey, there is now a higher-speed tier available for $25 more a month, reaching speeds...we used to just get. HOW CONVENIENT.

The more I play Public Access, the more I desperately want to play even more. This is absolutely some of the most fun I've had running a TTRPG, and that is saying something! Seeing my players come up with the story, and then twisting it on them in weird ways is just...[chef's kiss]. 10 outta 10.

Don't worry, this is mostly a joke. I mean, I'm not feeling mentally *great* today, but I'm not awful. Sometimes a mood like this is just an opportunity for self-reflection and a reminder to stop and process days of mental backlog. You don't have to be concerned, I just wanted to make a silly. <3

Caught a different song of their that I was obsessing over, but then the internet maybe ruined it... Apparently there's a decent chance Frugit uses AI in their music. Rapid releases, certain aspects of the music fit AI, and then their refusal to address if it's AI when asked except sort of here...

Did I spend hours in the @alchemyrpg.bsky.social system builder creating a fully loaded module for an upcoming game of Public Access? Yes. Am I absolutely delighted with the ambience and flow of it all, to the point where I can hardly wait for our first session in a week? Also yes.

It also lists Klaus as the GM and the player as HELP

Yep! There are a few books that will use the same characters that are...pseudo-sequels, but still work great as stand-alone books. Funny, clever, and just a fun take on fantasy. Death is actually one of, if not the, most recurring (side) characters in the entire series, and is always a delight.
An image of death petting a cat, with the text...

"I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"...

Death thought about it. "CATS," he said eventually. "CATS ARE NICE."

Immediately made me think of one of my all-time favorite Discworld moments/quotes...
A comic strip depicting a scene from Terry Pratchett's Hogfather, with Death in a Santa Claus-life outfit, having given a little girl a sword. The Mom yells "You can't give her that. It's not safe!"
In the next panel Death replies, "IT'S A SWORD. THEY'RE NOT MEANT TO BE SAFE."
In the next panel, the store manager says, "She's a Child!" to which Death says, "IT'S EDUCATIONAL." The store manager says, "What is she cuts herself?"
The last panel is a close us of Death saying, "THAT WILL BE AN IMPORTANT LESSON."

I will always attempt a little patience and compassion, but I have to admit, even I'm getting worn down with this. I know, I should just ignore the comment and move on. I just can't help but hope it maybe, maybe reaches someone. Probably not, but I'll still try. Do NOT harass this person, please!
A youtube comment saying: "I'm disappointed by this video. The type of people they're capturing are repeat offenders and people who've caused physical damage other than just crossing a border. If a family is separated that father is more than likely to be extremely abusive, not to mention we've seen the biggest drop in murder rates in a long time in 2025."

The reply from Klaus says, "If you can see everything that is happening in my state, and actually see how awful and unconstitutional this occupation is, and still support it, then I'm afraid we're both disappointed. I have had friends harassed, seen videos of an execution, and heard constant misinformation from the white house. I would recommend you look deeper into what you've heard, double check sources, and hopefully you'll understand why we here in Minnesota (and many people across the country) are scared and angry. Looking at just one figure, like murder rates, isn't giving a complete picture.

Do not feel a need to reply to this, as I don't plan to engage further. I don't mean any disrespect, I am just so tired. Know that I do what I do for what I believe would be a better country for all in it, and I wish you and yours well."

When I say I genuinely love the old Street Fighter movie, it is 90% because of Raul Julia, for his awesome performance, dedication, and passion. An absolute treasure.

I see videos of people's TTRPG rooms with huge tables, and I kinda laugh, because I would never want that. See, most of the games I play don't require a tabletop. In fact, my ideal set up would be a huge u-shaped sectional. Keep your huge tables and battlemaps, my dream TTRPG room has one of these!

I worked at a bakery/deli, and when I see pullmans I think of sandwich loafs. For those not in the know, a sandwich loaf is... a cake, but it's bread with different sandwich slops (chicken salad, ham salad, etc) in between, and cream cheese for frosting. It's horrifying...but good...but awful.
A long sandwich loaf. It looks like cake, but the cake part is bread, the filling looks to be probably a ground ham salad, and it is covered in cream cheese instead of frosting, topped with what looks like beet roses and herbs, with a slice in a place, a fork resting in it.

Moves like this are why I am so excited. Could you do this in other games? Sure. Plenty of games look at a GM and say "On a success or miss... figure it out!" But I love a game that gives you specific results because it feels more transparent for players and gives the MC(GM) clear options.
Picture of an Urban Shadows move called "Put a Face to a Name" with the description...
When you put a name to a face or vice versa, roll with their Circle. On a hit, you know their reputation; the MC will tell you what most people know about them. On a 10+, you’ve dealt with them before; learn something interesting and useful about them or they owe you a Debt, your choice. On a miss, you don’t know them or you owe them, MC’s choice.

I quite liked KPop Demon Hunters when I saw it. After seeing this, I love it. There is nothing inherently wrong with the idea of a live action version of animated stuff, but I just love to see animators stating how some stuff just works better/only works as animation.
A screenshot of the main three characters from KPop Demon Hunters posing on stage, with the text "News: Kpop Demon Hunteres Creators don't want a live action version" from IGN.

"It's really hard to imagine these characters in a live action world. It would feel too grounded. So totally it wouldn't work for me."

In this case, it looks to be because of the AI you are using. I just tested it on Google, which is using Gemini, and got the same oreO result. You used GPT5. The point is less about the specific example, though, and more the overall unreliability of AI, I think.
