The only thing that runners can hear and use (in HS for sure), is positive affirmation. Telling them what to do, shouting too much information, commenting on their form, telling them "you gotta go," or other such nonsense, isn't at all helpful and might be harmful. Tell them they look great

Claude Monet's pond at Giverny is a great tourist attraction but also the subject of his last and final masterpieces. Clemenceau urged Monet to make those paintings, but there's an intensity there, embodying the memories of an old man looking back on a long, flawed life. #Art #ClaudeMonet

She could learn to handle her grief by becoming more independent and developing a real sense of herself, able to flourish in the world without needing the kind of protection she describes, and without apologizing for her (literal) scars. Or, the daddy talk turns Trump on. I can't decide.

Please disagree with me, because this conclusion is making me confused and a little ill, but I read those feeling sad for her. She mentions her dead father in each letter, and it appears that she has taken a very dark, misguided path to working out her grief by seeking a protector in a terrible man
