Is this the first time where both the CDN Prime Minister’s chief of staff & principal secretary have zero experience as political staffers? #MarkCarney #CDNpoli #Liberals

What the voter gender divide means for Canada’s political future
Canada’s voter gender gap is not just about party preference — it reflects deeper ideological divides shaped by cultural values, policy priorities and gender identities.

.@poitrasj.bsky.social under PC party rules, can unelected staff from party HQ veto any proposed rules to how next leader is chosen? I found section of story interesting about equally weighting ridings. Staff could have much power in deciding the influence of Northern NB… Imagine the bad DEI jokes

IMO Gregor Robertson Vs. Nate Erskine-Smith is the difference between NDP polling below 10%, or above 10%. There has to be Left Liberals in cabinet & Left Liberal projects. Nate is palatable to progressives, skeptical of Liberal party. Vulnerability, like this post, makes Nate authentic. #cdnpoli

New data from @DavidColetto. One in five 2021 NDP voters voted Conservative this election. While the Liberals picked up twice as many, it's almost certain those ratios are different in, say, Ottawa Centre or Toronto Centre than in blue-collar ridings.
