Skydance now owns Nick, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, and MTV, effectively ending US TV animation as we know it. Countless jobs will be lost, and fewer new shows will be created. An apocalyptic scenario for cartoons, yet it's maybe the 5th-worst thing about the Paramount-WB merger!

I tried to watch Suikoden Anime and-- --I hated the changes and stopped after 5 minutes. Like... Why change the order of events of Unicorn Brigade? No build up, no seeing they are children, thus no emotional impact, Jowy's design doesn't look 16, the opening doesn't fit the tone of Suikoden 2...

◇ Make way for the Participants of Conviction's End. ◇ Cordelia is their favourite, as we come to find out she is full of determination and inner strength. They contributed a story centering around an outsider of sorts navigating the new Norzelia found in the Liberty Ending. #trianglestrategy

◇ Now, you may have a look at the Participants of Conviction's End. ◇ Her favourite character is Benedict, often praised, after all, for being one of the best-written characters in the game. Her post-Golden writing is a more light-hearted outlook on the future of House Wolffort. #trianglestrategy

They favour General Avlora. Who can resist a big, strong woman with long, flowing hair and her honour as her compass? He's illustrated one of the other contributor's story, something he is more than fit to do, seeing as he has a talent for creating art that speaks volumes. #trianglestrategy

I love this game so much, but ironically... A lot. Recruits only being able to talk to the same 5 people left so many dynamics unexplored. I would have loved for characters with similar struggle to bond, and that's not even mentioning cases like Groma and Archibald or ROLAND AND MAXWELL COME ON

Cordelia getting basically dropped after chapter 15, at the latest, will never stop bothering me. She deserved SO much better, and the only reason I can imagine is that it's ambiguous whether the player recruited her or not... Which is dumb to me ngl

Cordelia was completely forgotten after a point despite her relevance throughout the story. Hell to get the Golden Ending you don't even need her/play the chapter she joins, which just seems odd. I also thought Silvio Telliore could have been given a longer role. I loved his coniving nature.

Cordelia and Roland! Cordelia for being a pleasant surprise in her character arc (standing up for herself, showing great wisdom, being perceptive--too bad game forgets about her after a while DESPITE BEING IMPORTANT), and Roland for going into a negative character arc.

A comic where the first panel depicts Edelgard von Hresvelg of Fire Emblem Three Houses (FE3H) sitting at a table with her chin resting on her interwoven hands as she says: "Guys, I want you to know— I'm bisexual."

In the next panel: Claude von Riegan and Dimitri Blaiddyd stare at her with shocked faces, exclaiming: "YOU LIKE BOYS!?"

Definetly Liberty | Benedict Route, and I honestly don't think it's close. You think the ending is good until you get a massive slap to the face. Capitalism is invented. Roland joining Iadore. What of Cordelia. Frederica falling out of love with Serenoa. Benedict wins. Serenoa negative arc.

DuckieYabba @duckieyabba.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I have only seen Roland and Benedict, and Roland was the one that moved me the most (especially when you have Cordelia recruited)! While he had a lot of sorrow it seemed like he was happy to leave. Did he abandon his responsibilites? He was never ready. Even he knows this.

I am REALLY trying to get into Suikoden III and I just... the gameplay design philosophy doesn't work for me. -lack of overworld means backtracking and stretching out story -pair up leads to cheap difficulty -too many hours until you can recruit characters (haven't gotten there yet)
