i'm so annoyed by BART frequencies there is potential for trains every 8-10mins. it was amazing being in montreal, etc. any major world class city/region and just going down to the train platform without checking ETAs first. no stress vs "if I miss this train, it's a long wait til next"

my neighbors forgot to move car for street sweeping. gonna be another month until next street sweeping. this is why streets aren't clean, and leaves/debris clog up storm drains aah, sf residential neighborhoods get like weekly street cleaning so everyone remembers. #oakland only monthly

i was walking straight, stepping off the sidewalk onto a crosswalk and a driver right-turns immediately in front of me 😤 but at least he noticed his transgression at the last second and he made an arm motion like "sorry". some car was parked close to intersection, yeah, but he coulda slowed down🙄

sad, a little depressed. found out that the chef i worked with daily since i was 18 for a few years at my aunt's restaurant, he died. and my aunt didn't tell me or my cousin. cousin found out thru a coworker. he went on his annual vacation to cambodia for 2-3 months, caught pneumonia. died in sf 🏥
