Natürlich will ich Trump nicht behalten, wir müssen uns aber darauf einstellen, dass Trump kein Zwischenspiel ist, und dass MAGA nach Trump nicht am Ende sein wird, und die Folgen dauerhaft sind. Starke gesellschaftliche und wirtschaftliche Kräfte wollen hier wie dort die Demokratie zerlegen.

Worauf ich raus will: Trump hinterlässt uns ein mit einiger Wahrscheinlichkeit unlösbares Problem. Ein demokratischer Nachfolger wird die Spritpreise eher nicht senken können, so dass das Volk nach zwei Jahren dem nächsten Populisten nachrennt, der ihnen das Blaue vom Himmel verspricht.

Strategische Reflexion müsste das Szenario ernsthaft durchdenken, dass Iran die nächsten Jahrzehnte die Versorgung mit Öl, Gas, Düngemittel und Helium kontrolliert und sich bezahlen lässt.

Sieht außerdem sehr danach aus, dass Trump und Netanjahu ein unlösbares Problem geschaffen haben, da Iran jetzt nicht mehr abgeschreckt ist, vitale Handelswege zu blockieren. Auch ein demokratischer Präsident kann das in Zeiten unbemannter Systeme nicht ändern. Unsere Regierung: null Strategie dazu.
