I think if there are two or more Republicans in Boston, Wu makes it. And if there's one she also makes it. I do appreciate your concern but as her case shows the most broadly appealing candidate is the one who rises. The question of the ideological flavor depends on spread of opinion in district.

2/ We tried to combine both and brought a Top 4/Top 5 ballot initative forward in 2023, but the Attorney General said no can do. Said the initiative didn't meet the "related or mutually dependent" clause.

1/ You can love RCV & support All-Party Primaries. They're not rivals — they can fit together like hand & glove. Like in Alaska & Seattle. Like in the push by RCVBoston. No one votes to rank choices when there aren't any choices to begin with. MA's competitiveness problem has to be tackled directly.
