Haven’t seen anything about this new album from 1-800-Mikey, but it’s filled with banger after banger

The one that comes to mind: Bioshock- specifically, the Big Daddy battles. Unbelievably amazing game, but strategizing supplies and everything + engaging the fight was always tough

Mopar Stars are easily my 2026 find of the year after seeing them open for Gladie back in May. And their new album out today is a serious contender for AOTY for me in a year that has already been filled with amazing albums (with even more on the way)

Harper, the calico colored rabbit, saying “Got a certified banger over here!” (referring to the new Mopar Stars album)

For sure the top/front, but am also considering the side too since this is a smaller sized guitar. Are you NYC-based/adjacent?

000

Ad Hoc @drummaster2001.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Should probably have also mentioned, would need to be NYC-based/adjacent because I am not shipping the guitar

Can’t say I’m a Canes fan due to division rivalry, but I’m happy to see Brind’Amor *finally* get the cup as a coach - extremely well deserved. Also happy to see former Devil (and league MVP) Taylor Hall get to lift Lord Stanley’s Cup

2026 is shaping up to be an absolutely huge year for album releases. Some gems have already come out, and plenty of singles have hinted at very promising LPs. Can’t wait to hear it all

Yep, you got it ✅ Can’t believe that was 12 years ago this July

One of my fave bands to see live with plenty of power pop goodness across their discog, and were somehow even more incredible during the Doug Gillard years

This is accurate- anyone that says otherwise is lying and/or giving way too much weight to the singles from TAYF

The downside of watching the latest episode of The Pitt as soon as it’s released is that we now have to wait the longest amount of time until the next episode of The Pitt

For me, form-wise, it’s the shake: more specifically, a coffee milkshake. The kicker though is that it has to be done right and is on the thicker side/not too liquidy

New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.
