The black bags placed illegally outside the Canal Street McDonald's tonight are a Happy Meal for RATS. We issued Ronald a warning - and he can read the rules at nyc.gov/UseBins before ticketing starts September 1.

Some areas around the City were “forgotten” for too long. Those days are over. Our TNT clean teams are making quick work of the places that get covered by litter and debris – like this enclosed pedestrian walkway in Harlem. 🧨

New Yorkers deserve a clean City - and New Yorkers deserve a safe City. Commissioner Tisch was proud to join the NYPD’s 19th Precinct and the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit to proclaim tonight to be National Night Out. #NNO2023

Hero Alert! 💪 Sanitation Workers Rene Mathe & Matthew Greco were working in Sunset Park and noticed an air conditioning unit in a building window was on fire! They knocked on the door to alert the sleeping residents, who then got out safe & the FDNY arrived to take it from there!

Spotted in South Brooklyn just now. Um…you know it only works if you put the trash IN the bin, right?
