It’s so good, I bought it on magenta vinyl on Bandcamp Friday last week and it’s already here

Mopar Stars are easily my 2026 find of the year after seeing them open for Gladie back in May. And their new album out today is a serious contender for AOTY for me in a year that has already been filled with amazing albums (with even more on the way)

Our 11+ yr old rabbit, Melvin (aka Melvis), is very suddenly and rapidly not doing too well. Need some positive vibes sent his way. Pic is from a few yrs ago, but look at this dapper good boy

I was number 24 at my polling place this morning in NJ, which is a lucky/significant number for me. Does it mean good things for the outcome tonight? Idk, I still can’t seem to shake the feeling

In Philly tonight to see a concert, and I just continue to love this place* * = except for their sports teams

The junk/spam texts have been coming more frequently with my upcoming NJ governor election. I usually just ignore, but this one pissed me off since it’s complete BS *and* is from a PAC with a Virginia address. They can fuck all the way off with that trash

American Principles Project, listed as a PAC based in VA, sending absurd and false narratives against the NJ Democratic candidate. My response was to Fuck Off

Happy Gotcha Day to our good boi, Gandalf!! Can’t believe it’s been a year since we foster failed (though we kinda knew from day 1 we wanted to keep him). Gandy had surgery last month to remove a growth (that we knew about last year), which thankfully was nothing serious. We love you buddy!!

I am really happy that I snagged a copy of this after forgetting to set a reminder on my phone (got the New Moon one). Hey Arnold! was one of my fave Nickelodeon shows growing up, and the music from Jim Lang is arguably got me - and likely many others - into jazz

This book will forever be one of my all time favorites. I originally borrowed it from the library on a whim, and loved it so much I ended up buying my own copy. It also turned me into a big Jeff Lemire fan

Holy fuck, not only does this bus not have AC in this 95 degree heat at 8 pm, it also feels like the heat is on. Pretty much me right now

Apparently it’s been 10 yrs since I got my hands on Brand New’s “Deja Entendu” released on RSD. I’ll always remember camping out overnight, making sure to get there first for 1/2 copies at the local record store. This was such a monumental album for me growing up, but hard to reckon with now

Got some amazing vegan food, walked around Asbury Park, got ice cream, walked around my own town/park, got some gelato, and watched my fave Wes Anderson movie- Royal Tenenbaums. Definitely a solid Sunday

Hell yeah- FLCL is easily a top 5 anime with one of the best OSTs. “Crazy Sunshine” (which is also fun to rip on guitar) blazing when he swings the bat is possibly my fave scene of all time

Time really does fly- can’t believe it’s been 10 yrs since a killer Northcote/Gaslight Anthem show at Webster Hall. To date, this is still the most unique piece in my Setlist Anthology @thebrianfallon.bsky.social any chance you and the gang would sign this?

Can’t believe it’s been 11 yrs since my friend and I waited 2.75 hrs in single digit temps to see Neutral Milk Hotel. Didn’t get a setlist for the anthology, but we were right in front of Jeff Mangum & Webster sounded phenomenal that night. Amazing concert

The one thing I want to remember about Jan 6th: it’s both Melvin’s (aka Melvis; black nosed Himalayan) and Madeleine’s (aka Maddie; Rex) gotcha day!! Melvis was a foster fail in 2023 after having him 1 mo. We decided to get a partner for him, and coincidentally ended up with Maddie 1 yr later

I’ve watched plenty of great anime over the years, but Big O will always be my favorite. Amazing art direction, noir-esque, great soundtrack, killer English dub, and complex storylines

It’s been 2 years since I last saw one of my all-time fave bands, Big Nothing, perform- which means it’s also Melvin’s second unofficial gotcha day (we picked him up on the way home as a foster, but didn’t adopt until a month later)

Yesterday (12/13), would have been Mr Mochi’s (aka “Moach”) 3rd gotcha day. Sadly, we lost him back in September when he passed due to rapid acute bloat. He was only ~3.5-4 years old. We miss you buddy #bunny #rabbit #pets #MrMochi #Moach

Can’t believe it’s been 1 year since we’ve had Melvin (aka Melvis; Melvie). Technically, he wasn’t officially a foster fail until January, but we brought him home on the way back from Philly on 12/03/22 and haven’t looked back #rabbit #bunny #pets #Melvis
