Great album, saw them touring this record, so good live. Big fan of the Body Exit Mind album as well.

#nowplaying France - Occitania On a real France jag at the minute. Really the side of pure drone I enjoy the most - loose and loud and visceral and ancient. This is a great one from 2017. Bandcamp link here: aguirrerecords.bandcamp.com/album/occita...

Trying to work out if Moondance is 500 albums better than Astral Weeks, or worse.

I could listen to them chat for hours, I’d only get about 20% of what was going on mind, but that’s neither here, nor there. 🙂

Whenever I think of terrible album art my mind goes to Iron Maiden’s Dance of Death. Although I’m not listening to this album as the content ain’t their best work either!

Darren R #MDANT @drufford.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

That cover art is so bad, lol. What were they thinking?!

Nice, no complaints with that description.

The funniest and saddest film I’ve ever seen, I’ve made life long friends over it, it’s a litmus test on how you engage with the world.

Darren R #MDANT @drufford.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Pretty much every line in the film is quotable, which is unique in it’s self.

Ok, I’ll bite, who’s on TOTP’s? Cause that’s a pretty punchy mix 🙂

Londoner here, so not in the loop too much, but what were Sliwa’s worst positions? Obviously NY made the right choice, so no arguments there, just wondering that’s all.

Look, I’ll level with you, the threat to humanity has got me spooked, but Mr Bubbles says it’s all ‘super cool’, so upon reflection, maybe I’m the problem?

Saw it at the IMAX this week, perfect blend of John Carpenter (The Thing) / Sam Rami (Evil Dead) / Peter Jackson (Braindead). Really enjoyed it.

Sometimes a drug trip is a profound experience where you realize that you’ve been carrying pain in your heart for years, that you can forgive yourself. Other times you come up with a concept called “gay money” (money that’s gay) and you text your friend “gay money” days later. Both are healing. ❤️‍🩹

When are you going to get commissioned to a TV show / documentary on menswear history / fashion culture? Cause i’d watch the shit out of that.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.

Hello! NHS England did a study that found the exact opposite, which they published a few months before this film was released. Funny that neither the Guardian nor their “not especially radical” Dr (who happens to write for the Daily Mail) acknowledge this! In conclusion: Fuck you.
