good to read the government now confirming that settlements and the occupation of Palestinian land is illegal. They're still not able to describe Gaza actions as genocide but an improvement from previous gov statements so moving in the right direction

email from linked in with title that congratulates me for setting up an account 19 years ago! gosh! how exciting! 19 years! wow! that's something to celebrate - NOT!

and then in the email body telling how important my account was to making them what they are "we wouldn't be us, without you". Awww, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that I've been part of making linked in what it is, ah no, I don't think they know me that well. Linked in is a hot mess and in my profession that doesn't come with the fuzzies.

I've now given the email far more energy than it deserves but it's helped vent the humpday blues. where's that delete button? :D

Had a great wrap I had the other day [1] so was looking for a similar recipe so I could try it out myself & came across this AI monstrosity 😱 why wld a reader need to summarise the recipe? is the writing too complex, too dense, too woolly? or is it the worst sin of all - too long to bother reading?
