A still from the Wicker Man film starring Christopher Lee. Lee is wearing a yellow turtleneck shirt and a tweed jacket, standing in front of the sea telling the protagonist that it's time to keep his appointment with the Wicker Man.

I sent a friend in Germany a copy of my book but it's being returned to sender as apparently the address is wrong. I wrote "-n" instead of "-r" on a relative pronoun in the address line but everything else (building name and number, post code etc.) was correct. Absolutely maddening.

Feeling a bit smug about all this aran weight (real!) wool that I picked up at Wonderwool Wales for £20 yesterday 🧶 (the bright yellow wool in last pic is sock yarn so not part of the aran haul) 🧶
Four different colours of yarn - yellow, light green, dark green, and purple - on top of a chequered bedspread A kitchen table scene - winding the hanks of yarn into yarn cakes to make it easier to knit later down the line. Three lots of yarn cakes in yellow, dark green, and light green.
