I was only mildly annoyed as another person in this space who's had countless works opted into training data on various GenAI tools. To play to my emotions as a fellow parent and try to be deliberately manipulative is more than a step too far for me. Furious.

I gave @djcutman.com benefit of the doubt and opted to take down a screenshot that contained an address he told me put his kids in danger. As a father why wouldn’t I? Turns out it was a lie. Do not do business with this slimy manipulative motherfucker. Not a sliver of integrity in his bones.

Just spent an hour and a half making a spreadsheet consolidating and re-calculating the revenue splits for the 28 tracks across Viridian Citypop. Was it fun? No. 😆 Will I do it again? Absolutely.

I think one of the most distressing things about the whole DJ Cutman GenAI slop fest bullshit is quite literally that he is supposed to be a steward for musicians. Using GenAI in any capacity is and will forever be a slap in the face to every creative on earth; I don't care to debate this point.

If we ever miss the fact that a participant on our albums uses GenAI, I will personally commit to removing the track & republishing the album without any offending tracks. I don’t care how inconvenient it may be, this is a core principle of the label. No GenAI. Respect your peers & do better.
