"Oh this game looks mildly interes-" GENERATIVE AI TAGS INTO THE TRASH. Mildly interesting will never be enough to make me forgive that. There's a reason it's only ever "mild" with these games. Something feels off, it's never quite right. Ain't NOBODY gonna get my money using gen ai

This is what peak performance looks like

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Oh if we got proper puppets and all I'd be pretty excited. Like when Netflix had the Dark Crystal series I was stoked, lot of people got to see how cool it can be with proper production. Big potential

God I read huge chunk of Demon Copperhead for my study tomorrow, Having to give myself a totally different vibe because as much as I love that novel, it really has some heavy things to mull over after a few chapters . So Gideon the Ninth it is. WOOOOO SPACE NECROMANCY

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Idk man I already have very little confidence knowing no Joe Dante directing. It's one of those franchise I think doesn't need modern day Hollywood's nasty touch. Leave my boy Gizmo in peace 😩

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hard disagree. It's not even a tragic ending , it serves very little purpose. I can't even say I cared much about the content of the end because the movie never took itself seriously, everything was just jokes The ONE moment the MC had to be serious they turn into a joke. 1st half way better.

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

If the movie could have spent even a LITTLE bit of time trying to be more serious I think I'd have enjoyed it more. A whole lot of quips and jokes that lead to an unsatisfying and flat ending.

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

And lastly, having the main character yell "WOOHOO, VIDEO GAMES!" made me want to walk out and not look back lmao

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Monsters were all very cool. Some awesome shots, visually really awesome. The comments about it feeling like a video game as it progresses are true enough. But as a movie? I wouldn't see it again. Even the 1 "serious" moment is undercut by a fairly dumb joke. Very confusing choices

Saw resident evil, Did not enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. I'm exhausted by a movie that has to be unserious at all times. The first like 40 to 45 minutes of this movie were so good, I had such high hopes. Then there's just no room to have a serious moment. And I'll say it: terrible ending

I'm so happy I came back to this game Difficult sure but god the art and the music and just wanting to know what's happening is a great motivator. Act II is reminding me of things in the first dark souls that really got me invested. Feels like approaching bug Anor Londo.

Doctor Defiler @drdefiler.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Act II achieved I have gotten good Have a nice night everyone

Damn, boss battles are that badly designed? It looked like it really had a lot of things going for it as far as atmosphere and being in that RE vein of older titles.

It's just wild I'll see a new follow, then go and see PURE unabashed slop. Same for all these political accounts that fish for follows. That block button is putting in work these days
