Honoured that my written evidence to the UK Parliament has been published. It outlines 3 key actions that focus on earlier diagnosis, lowering long-term costs, and supporting continued employment for older adults, strengthening productivity and resilience in an #ageing society.

Funny how things come full circle 🔄 A decade ago, I applied for a PhD with what was then a novel approach. It didn’t get funded ❌ Now, I was on the panel that funded a fellowship proposing that same approach—led by the mentee of that supervisor! Good ideas find their time 💫

Clean air is a human right! Air pollution is a silent killer, claiming at least 7 million lives annually and fueling a growing health crisis. Health and care workers are calling on governments, businesses, and leaders to take urgent and decisive action.
Ahead of the Second WHO Global Conference on Air Pollution and Health in March 2025, the global health community is making an urgent call to action for clean air, urging governments, business leaders and policy-makers to act swiftly to stop air pollution and save lives. Air pollution is responsible for at least 7 million deaths each year, contributing to a growing global health crisis, with the vast majority of deaths caused by noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular issues, respiratory diseases and lung cancer.
