Always love when an answer surprises. When do these briefings happen? Do you need to be in the school for that time? I can see it being useful for the heads up of any issues, but enjoy my classroom time before the bell. #Teachertapp

Yeah, I get workload is massive, and experienced teachers often have report comment documents built up over the years to help them with suggestions.

It concerns me that teachers would use A I for reports, with the potential of including data on students. And that's with me not enjoying report writing, but I would hate as a parent to feel my child's teacher cared so little. #TeacherTapp

Fantastic day spent at the IOP Stirling Physics Teachers meeting. My last as chair, and as always great to chat to other physics teachers. I have so many ideas to take back into the classroom, showing the importance of subject-specific CPD. #iteachphysics @iopscotland.bsky.social #chatphysics

So true, and I love the Learning Scientists website mentioned in the post for illustrating more high utility strategies. Study skills are a focus for me for the coming year. How to help students monitor their strategies and evaluate the effectiveness.

Hey @teachertapp.bsky.social I want to answer this question but I'm an awkward non-England-based tapper. What year equates to S4/National 5? Or would you prefer us to put can't answer?

Question with boxes to answer. Question reads ' which year group was your most recent parents evening for'

Lovely bright moments last week. - two of my online AH Physics meeting at Glasgow Uni while there to carry out project work. - Diet Coke and chocolate from my secret buddy at school - little ducks are appearing in our classrooms and they make me smile.🥰 #Iteachphysics #Pedagoofriday #Edusky

My summer in books. Some better than others, and maybe a few more 'we've fecked the world' than is strictly healthy. But some great ones too. I had never read Slaugterhouse five before, but it was a great read. And Adrian Tchaikovsky never disappoints. Service Model was amusing. #BookSky

A field of galaxies scattered across the deep black of space. It is filled with galaxies of many shapes, sizes and colors, as well as the multi-colored points of stars. To the lower left is a region filled with the hundreds of golden glittering gems of a distant galaxy cluster. In the foreground, below and left of center, two blue spiral galaxies look like eyes to the left of the entangled mass of a triple merger. A few bright blue points of foreground stars pierce the glittering tapestry.

A field of galaxies scattered across the black of space. It is filled with galaxies of many shapes, sizes and colors, as well as the bright multi-colored points of stars. The image focuses on a collection of interacting galaxies connected by delicate streams of stars. Like spider silk, these stellar bridges link the large elliptical to the few larger galaxies beneath.

A tapestry of glowing tan and pink gas clouds with dark dust lanes. In the lower right, the Trifid Nebula resembles a small flower in space. Its pink gas petals are surrounded by blue gas, and streaked with dark veins of dust. To the upper left, the larger Lagoon Nebula stretches wide like a churning sea of magenta gas, with bright blue, knotted clumps sprinkled throughout

Dense cluster of bright blue stars shining like beacons against wispy nebula cloud of orange and blue. The background is filled with countless smaller stars.

Intrigued by the phrasing 'end of year' reports. Is this when these go out for some year groups? I have ones to complete at various times of the year depending on year group (one per year) giving guidance on mocks or options. Always intrigued by other systems. #EduSky @teachertapp.bsky.social

Whoop whoop Scottish teachers! We've made it to the end of term! And what a year it's been. Today was brought to you by my Higher class playing with Hot Wheels. They even came back after the interval till they got the car from the cupboard all the way into the sink across the room. #PedagooFriday

Internal truancy is such a major issue. Pupils in school, but not in class. Becomes a vicious circle of kids missing content so when they do come in to a lesson, they struggle with the work and vote to leave again. Makes it difficult to build up a relationship too. #TeacherTapp
