Yes. I regularly go through my pdfs and put them into my spreadsheet (and update the sheet with dates because pdfs get updated often), but bundles are a different matter.

Good physical bookstores rock. I went to Kinokuniya to pick up Don't Call It Mystery 7-8, then browsed and learned Terry J. Benton-Walker wrote a book I didn't know about (Alex Wise vs The End of the World). Walking through a bookstore is easier and more pleasant for me than random online browsing.

Have you read Samuel Delany's BABEL-17? If not, do! I found Jean Mark Gawron's ALGORITHM highly weird and fascinating, but don't remember it well and need to reread it. Also, Alaya Dawn Johnson's The Summer Prince, Jordan Ifueko's RAYBEARER/REDEMPTOR and basically anything by Nicky Drayden.
