Just a thought. In 2028, there are 17 days between when the US House & Senate are sworn in, and the presidential inauguration. 17 days is plenty of time to complete the impeachment of DjT. It's only 17 days? Every single day that traitor remains in office is a travesty.

Absolute cowardice is the Hallmark of our Congress. It boggles my mind that we 25 plus plus Republican senators haven't called for impeachment. Do they realize that this failure will condem the Republicans to wander for 40 years in the deserts of political irrelevance.

I'm a physicist, and agree with George Herbert's analysis. Coupling of emps is related to the length of the antenna. Long power transmission lines would be impacted, but the mitigation upgrades that have been made over the years to deal with solar flares also harden against EMP.

Let's talk about flashbangs. FBs are extraordinarily dangerous devices. A Couple of decades ago I worked on a project to try to make them safer. The primary result of that research was to produce pyrotechnics that reduced flame temperature, and increased gas volume.

We had a 28-year incumbent Rep who barely even showed up to the legislature. We collected signatures for a libertarian run against him. Our candidate lost his job and got evicted, and didn't file. It turns out the incumbent forgot to file. No R filed. If our guy had filed, he would have won.

The time to organize to run for 2026 is now. Signature collection in many states starts in October of this year. Everybody has an excuse why they can't run for office, I don't give a shit. If you have time enough to complain in social media, you can run. No excuses!

It's our own fault. 70% of electoral races across the country were uncontested in 2024. Every legislative race should have an opponent. Every incumbent should have an appointment in the primary. While I would prefer classical Liberal candidates on the ballot, let there be some opposition.
