Lots of gamer types in the gate area. Pretty sure the nonstop Seattle-Indy Alaska flight for GenCon is the same kind of preferred option as the nonstop Seattle-Pittsburgh flight for AC.

Trip to GenCon isn’t starting great. Notification from American Airlines that my redeye flight is delayed by two hours, which means I don’t make my connection to Indy in the morning, which ain’t great. Getting to the airport early to see what can be sorted out.

More house hunting this weekend… found a place that I actually really like. My realtor says that it’s overpriced, but it’s been on the market awhile and she thinks we can leverage that. Main issue is that it… needs work. Like a fair amount. Both bathrooms are decidedly vintage.

Biggest difference between this current bout of ‘sick’ and more typical instances is the near-total drain on mental/physical energy. Like, usually I can pop some DayQuil and then binge some TV or play low-intensity games. But this? All I want to do is lay in bed and nap on and off.

Got back home from AC Monday night, went to work on Tuesday as usual and felt fine. Tuesday night after dinner started feeling queasy, then my digestive tract became angry through the night, which was fun. Not sure if unrelated food poisoning or stomach bug from the con, but took a sick day today.

Just kind of hanging around before catching the bus to the airport. Had a great time at AC this year, met a bunch of cool folks, ate good food, and am now thoroughly worn out.
