Eyes up, Guardian! Destiny has always been one of my top favorite games since the launch of D1 in 2014. With Destiny 2 having received its final content update on June 9th, Bungie put out this wallpaper and a version of it for desktop as well, with a version that says "Destiny 2" on it.

Destiny 2'a final major update goes live today. I'm both very excited, and deeply saddened at the same time. I can't express how much Destiny as a franchise has impacted my life. As of now, I'm a solo Guardian, with no clan or fireteam members to run with, but I have plenty of fond memories.

Maaaaan the news about Cimo in the Yugioh space was not what I wanted to hear. I remember finding his content through CGB videos where they just discussed cards from their respective TCGs. Shortly after that, I started binge watching Cimo's content on his channel. Prog, Sealed Showdown, Masochist.

Rowling? Living. Gaiman? Living. Musk? Living. Ellison? Living. Give them money and somebody gets hurt. It's really that fucking simple. "But what if" nope. They take your money and do hideous shit with it. They sow misery and grow fat. This isn't about art.

We need to start speaking up- no- YELLING to support and defend trans people. If you're in the USA, call your legislators. Literally email and call your representatives. Cis people have the loudest voices right now and those voices MUST be used to protect trans people.

They're openly calling to lock up every trans person by force. We need every ally to speak out forcefully against this because trans folks cannot do this on our own.

Alt text: A tweet from Joey Mannarino (@JoeyMannarinoUS) dated August 27, 2025. The tweet calls for Health and Human Services to violate HIPAA laws and forward information about every transgender and transgender-questioning person to law enforcement for immediate detainment, claiming they are killing children in schools. It describes this as a matter of national security, says transgender people should be locked away and studied, calls for medical professionals who enable transitions to be expelled from the profession, and demands that the federal government treat transgender people as if they were terrorist organizations. The tweet shows it was last edited at 1:11 PM and has 5,049 views.

Damn. The music world is gonna be standing still for a little while now, huh? Ozzy Osborne was a multi-generational icon for so many rock and metal fans. Whole world is gonna feel a little more empty without him around anymore. Rest well, Prince of Darkness.

7 cards banned in Standard is a lot, but hopefully now the format is much slower and more in line with where it's power level should actually be. I'm kinda excited to play more Arena now, and maybe some paper Standard

Jonathan Joss was Comanche and Apache and an openly gay actor. He was murdered while looking at the remains of his dogs at his own house that was burnt down. The killer yelled homophobic slurs before shooting him. This is the real world consequences of the hatred that the right commodifies

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today. I'm so angry.

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales
Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

I would urge folks not to TLDR on the bracket system. The article gives a bunch more detail on what makes up each bracket, which I believe makes it more effective as a whole.

For anyone still trying to get their head around the ends of the new bracket scale, it's about mindset and deck construction. You have to go out of your way to end up with an Exhibition (1) or CEDH (5) deck. You don't build them by mistake.

Okay so Roosterteeth coming back is certainly a surprise. Under Burnie again, no less. I'm cautious excited to see what they make of it, because even if it was his property originally, RT's name has been dragged through the mud so many times. But let's see what happens!

I think the run more lands thing I've been seeing from creators is a bit over simplified. Most players prob do need more lands, but mostly they need more cheap, efficient draw. If you're missing land drops at 39 lands the fix isn't to go to 41; the fix is to add three Night's Whisper variants.

Okay, I've done a few run-throughs of From Zero now, and to me, I think the record is beautiful and near flawless. The sheer range Emily has, and the range of the music itself is astounding. I also love the fact that if you have it on repeat, it actually loops back on itself. Genius.
