Since the start of Trump’s second term, federal agents have detained at least 70 American children. In one instance, a 15-year-old with disabilities was handcuffed outside a school in Los Angeles when agents mistook him for an alleged gang member.

Polling: Americans Uncertain On RFK Jr.’s Vaccine Stance, Very Certain That They Hate Him
In my many, many posts about RFK Jr. and his disastrous tenure as Secretary of HHS, there are two themes that have hopefully broken through all the noise. The first is that Kennedy is a miserable communicator, in a way that is totally purposeful. He talks out of both sides of his mouth all the...

My text message to my son telling him I've arrived to pick him up is misspelled so it says "Hwre."

His smart-ass response acknowledging the message reads "owk".

He's quick with it, and I'm a little proud.

Hey Platforms: Your Violent Content Policies Are About To Meet The Pentagon’s Firing Squad
There is plenty of coverage everywhere you look about how Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon have announced plans to livestream the firing squad execution of Nidal Hasan, the Army officer who shot up Fort Hood, killing 13 people and wounding dozens more. There is plenty of debate about the moral atrocity that is a firing...

Right-wing Christian nationalist podcasters are using the tragic Massachusetts case of Lindsay Clancy to make a radical argument: women should lose the right to vote, end no-fault divorce, and live under strict male supervision. Here is a breakdown of what they are saying on video 🧵👇

Typed a reply to a man up a few times, decided I have better things to do with my life, and blocked him instead. Women have been adjusting their behavior for the comfort of men their whole lives. It's fucking gross to suggest a woman do so again to appease a man's stunningly incorrect fiancee.

This is not the universal truth among women. Some of us just have really cold hands, or amusingly small hands and impulse control issues. Not all of us are flirting when we do this!

My husband made curry yesterday, which he sometimes does and is excellent at. But this time he added a little bit of sugar and some Thai basil. I cannot explain to you how much better it made it. Wasn't as spicy (I'm weak) and the basil really did A Thing. Even our teenager loved it. 10/10 no notes.

I think what frightens me most is that the sheer volume of things to be horrified by has become its own kind of protection for the people responsible. Nothing has to be explained or resolved becuase a story or a scandal or a tragedy only has to survive until the next thing happens in five minutes.

This is her 'regal' pose. Do not be fooled. Her brain is the same size and smoothness as an uncapped acorn.
A tan-colored, deer-headed Chihuahua sits in a hammock made from curtains on the back of the sofa, gazing out upon her sun-drenched kingdom. You cannot see it, but her eyes are also vacant with not a thought in her head.

It's a pattern.

Mine is this one, because I do not believe she's as regal as she sometimes looks, she's actually as derpy as this photo suggests.
A tan-colored, deer-headed Chihuahua looks backwards and upside down at the photographer, her snaggletooth fully engaged, her buggy eyes vacant, not a thought in her head.

I love her so much.

— and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009.

He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting "Allahu Akbar" during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.
