My text message to my son telling him I've arrived to pick him up is misspelled so it says "Hwre."

His smart-ass response acknowledging the message reads "owk".

He's quick with it, and I'm a little proud.

Here's some photos of mine. I didn't want to turn my light on, sorry it's dark. It wasn't cared for by prior generations, so it's in need of some cosmetic TLC, but she still runs great and I've sewn on her.

Oh! I have a hopper-style mandolin to prevent this because I'm terrified of regular mandolins. Multiple blades can be swapped for cut styles, etc. so much safer.

My new employer, who has at least one employee I know of who uses a wheelchair, has these on every floor by each stairwell:

I'm just saying that the Berlin specimen of the archaeopteryx looks like that painting by Herbert James Draper, A Lament for Icarus, and I love every millimeter of its dramatic, feather-clad, rocky fastness.

Repping my @terryandrob.bsky.social and @dropout.tv nerdery today. I found a keychain that has pre-pierced holes in sturdy felt so enamel pins can be worn as a keychain and I'm loving it.

A black purse has a keychain dangling from a strap. The keychain has two enamel pins on it. This is the ring, btw. It's gold, 18k on the band, at least. I'd be shocked if it's gold all the way through the top bit. My birthstone isn't garnet, but I like them more than my actual birthstone. It's a massive, ostentatious ring that I basically never wear, but I love it anyway.

My Haribo gummy bears came in a nuclear family set... Those two gummy bears are TINY.

This is why Sinclair caved. Their stock has lost more than Disney's and they're realizing we know who is ordering it all and will pressure them, too.

Here's a 5-year chart of DIS stock value, showing monthly avg values: The dip has continued this morning, but it's not even the lowest Disney stock has been in the last 5 years. If we can keep it going, like we have with Tesla stock, THAT will make a difference.

Lol last buzzed person I saw get on a plane got arrested and taken off it by cops, because buzzed turns to drunk very quickly.

A petite blonde white lady in a dark blue shirt and black yoga pants is escorted off the gangway from an airplane by two white cops, one of which looks like he's entirely done with life in general and the schnockered blonde lady in particular.
The lady has a vacantly amused expression on her incredibly drunk face. She does not understand she's facing up to a $5k fine and up to 6 months in jail, nor does she comprehend she's banned from Alaska Airlines for life.
I hope she sobered up the next morning and was mortified and horrified.
