I am so excited to share this new project with NASA and @developmentseed.org . By applying Icechunk and the "virtualization" approach, we can make Petabytes of archival data accessible to high performance analytics. Unlocking NASA's cloud archives will have immense downstream benefits for the world.

The smoke from #TableRockfire is moving into Henderson and Buncombe County as you can see in the #NOAA #GOES16 satellite data. Expect the air quality to be impacted by the smoke today. #ncwx #wncwx

The most heartbreaking joke I have heard was on Thursday in a virtual meeting with NOAA colleagues who received their letter. "Now we really need to keep our meeting on time so we can go back to pack our office." These are one of the most dedicated and mission-driven people I have worked with.
