one thing i do want to say is that the main roadblock to "getting into kingdom hearts" is not the series release structure or having to watch mobile game cutscenes. its this fucking platforming room you have to do three times over while mickey mouse clubhouse theme is blaring in your soul

The only way to do a Kingdom Hearts movie based on the regular flow of the game is to do an original movie, maybe based on a public domain fairytale, and halfway through Sora shows up and gets hired as a mercenary by the protagonist. There should be no further explanation.
