I've installed the Little Writer Desktop Companion demo from STEAM and oh my goodness this is so cute. I love watching my little guy click-clacking on the keyboard as I type. I named him Blorbo. Look at him go 🥺

A screenshot of progress from the aforementioned STEAM demo. It features a small pixel character at a typewriter, in a small room with a bookshelf, chair, lamp, and window (showing nighttime). The current word count goal is 3,000 words, and the progress is currently at 719.

Discord might not be that bad actually but I can't risk letting them see my bluesky (which I have linked on my profile) unless they can be really chill about *gestures widely* all of this.

Had a dream that someone made a racing game but all the tracks were designed like pages from I-Spy books. Goddamn I wish it existed now.

The "city blocks" photo from an I-Spy book. It depicts a miniature of toy cars bustling around a wooden block cityscape at sunset.

The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.

Flowchart drawn by Kate Holden in orange, aliases lines reads:
HOW TO BE ANARTIST.
Make some art.-> Does it look terrible? 1. YEAH 2. NO (both lives lead to thesame conclusion box) -> You are an artist -> Make more art

I still don't really understand the general thrill of it tbh (I know a lot of it has to do with outward facing media culture), but in that one moment I was thoroughly charmed.

I've never been into idol culture even w/ hypmic, but I was at a con last weekend & got a CD signed by one for a buddy in another state. When I talked to her interpreter for the dedication I mentioned this and the idol gave me an autograph too for being a good friend. For that one moment I was like:

One of my online friends for about 3 or 4 years who I've been voice chatting with on like a weekly basis just told me that it was his birthday the other day. I didn't know. I've never even seen his face, and he only recently saw mine coz I was on call as I was making/showing off a prop. Fascinating.

DoomTemp/NeonF1sh @doomtemp.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Understandably so, coz identity privacy is super important especially now, but it's still such an interesting phenomenon.

120

DoomTemp/NeonF1sh @doomtemp.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Having online friends is interesting because you can know so much about a person and their life and experiences for years and still be like "oh what's your name btw"

Kaiji was a manga inspired by the struggles Japan faced during its recession in the 90s. It's a story I'm sure is just as relatable now as it was then. Kaiji nearly crumbled under the pressure gambling with his life on the line. I loved imagining that same kinda of stress playing mere board games.

2 new Ace Attorney merch by me! First: an Apollo Justice shirt featuring the Gavinners, to commemorate their 2026 tour! I wanted to give Klavier some rep, not to mention Daryan and Lamiroir www.fangamer.com/collections/...

Black band-style shirt that says "Gavinners" featuring the character Klavier Gavin in the foreground and Daryan Crescend in the background

The back of the shirt, which reads "Gavinners Guilty as Charged tour 2026"

Digital mockups of the front and back of the shirt

A bonus sticker that says "Gavinners Guilty as Charged Tour 2026 with special guest Lamiroir performing The Guitar's Serenade feat. piano by Machi Tobaye". The cartoony artwork depicts Klavier and Lamiroir with a flaming acoustic guitar between them

The nice thing about this account is that you can post a picture of just a background with strong sad barely entering the frame and nothing else, and people will still go "yeah okay I'll like that." Myself included.
