just finished writing a new fic, btw 🤭 samaichi high school au archiveofourown.org/works/94106206

A screenshot of the title and summary of a fanfiction from AO3.

"Fell in love with the boy at the high school", by DoomedTemperament.
Summary: "There was a letter in Samatoki's shoe locker. It wasn't stamped with heart stickers, it wasn't scented like perfume, it wasn't addressed to him in glittery pink pen. But it also wasn't wrinkled like someone had gripped it in rage, wasn't splotchy with ink, wasn't written in half-assed kanji. It definitely wasn't a challenge letter. But it definitely wasn't written by a girl. And it definitely was, based on the contents, some sort of confession."

I've installed the Little Writer Desktop Companion demo from STEAM and oh my goodness this is so cute. I love watching my little guy click-clacking on the keyboard as I type. I named him Blorbo. Look at him go 🥺

A screenshot of progress from the aforementioned STEAM demo. It features a small pixel character at a typewriter, in a small room with a bookshelf, chair, lamp, and window (showing nighttime). The current word count goal is 3,000 words, and the progress is currently at 719.

Featuring one of my fankids too, btw 👀

A screenshot of a game preview; An annoyed-looking kid and an evil potted plant stand off in the foyer of a fancy house, with rain visible in the background window. There are two buttons, "Spark" and "Spray".

FINALLY getting back to work on bbmtcttfad... slow and small progress after being busy and sick, but still progress nonetheless!

Had a dream that someone made a racing game but all the tracks were designed like pages from I-Spy books. Goddamn I wish it existed now.

The "city blocks" photo from an I-Spy book. It depicts a miniature of toy cars bustling around a wooden block cityscape at sunset.

OHHHH... This entire story was heartstopping from beginning to end... Thank you (and your translator) so much for sharing it with us! 🥹🫶

I told myself I wasn't gonna use my card for any merch over the weekend... only to fold like a wet paper towel on the last day 😔 (cover by @bishiepro.bsky.social )

Absolutely no funny business going on here.

Ichiro and Samatoki sitting innocuously on a park bench. A speech bubble of swears is visible from the bushes on the left side of the screen, and the right side of the screen has an empty meter with a heart on top of it. A timer with 60 seconds on it is visible above them.

New game project WIP screenshots 👀

Samatoki and Ichiro sitting on a park bench, holding hands. Jiro and Saburo watch from behind one bush, Jyuto and Rio watch from behind another. The title reads "BB and MTC try to foil a date".

Ichiro waves goodbye to Jiro and Saburo, who are in the Yorozuya building. A dialogue box reads "Jiro, Saburo, I left some curry in the fridge for you both to have for dinner."

A view of the entrance to a public park, with small portrait bubbles indicating that Jiro and Saburo are hiding in the bushes. Saburo speaks with a dialogue box that reads, "There's someone else nearby!"

A poorly-drawn doodle of Jiro and Saburo running away from a veering car on the road. The captions reads "Try again!"

There's a zine fest going on in my state in a few months and this gave me the jumpstart I needed to make some of my own stuff to trade and share at it!!! (Sadly hypmic only gets one page for the current project 💔)

A black and white zine page;

"HYPNOSIS MIC is a Japanese multimedia project centered around music, specifically rap and hiphop. A majority of the songs can be found online on youtube, but the story audio tracks are on spotify, and only have unofficial translations."

"Handsome anime men! Sick bars! Really weird plotlines!"

"TL;DR, What if rap battles caused psychic damage?"

(an image of the ARB chibi of Rio Mason Busjima, with an arrow pointing to him that says "this guy is my favorite btw")

I'm making a zine about my hyperfixations (past and present) and god there's so much more about Neopets that I wish I could fit into the confines of a 2.25"x3.75" panel

A black and white page from a paper zine;

"NEOPETS is a virtual pet-raising website which has been running since 1999. It wildly evolved over the decades, but has now reached a level of stability. You can play flash games, battle other pets, post on boards, and more."

(image of a Kacheek, with a speech bubble saying "Jellyworld isn't real! Nothing is real! Play Freaky Factory!")

"While the site is technically kid-friendly, a good portion of the userbase is older."

(image of JumpStart world with a giant NO symbol, captioned with impact text saying "Fuck JumpStart, all my homies hate jumpstart".)

"This meme is unfortunately very relevant."

tumblr users have adopted the phrase "no prablem" into their lexicon which IS a prablem coz now every time I read it I hear it in this guy's voice

apparently this is an idea I'd already had back in November (and still did nothing with)

A screenshot from a discord group chat. The messages read as follows:

ME: Hypothetical question for thoughts of SamaIchiKuko doujin... Vampire Samatoki, Werewolf Kuko... should Ichiro be a human or some other 3rd supernatural thing?

ME: Nevermind, it'd be funnier if Ichiro was a human.

Reply #1: No yeah, that's way funnier. Hypmic Twilight.

ME: (with corresponding character emojis)
Ichiro- "I know what you are."
Samatoki- "Then say it."
Kuko- "...A dickhead?"

I keep getting weird mangaplaza ads for random "Boyfriend acts shitty and the Girlboss™️ MC gets revenge somehow" manga, but this one looked different, so I gave it a shot— and I actually really enjoyed what's been released so far! TITLE: Ohitorisama ni wa Naremashita no de Kon'yakusha Houchi-chuu!
