I recently found out that the genre for soundtracks on CD-ROMs like Encarta and stuff has a name: Utopian Scholastic. I definitely remember some feeling of optimism growing up, but that got dashed pretty quick, especially after Sept 11. If we were happy, it was for a split second.

We made an entire Palestinian dinner out of the Gaza Kitchen cookbook to raise funds for a local org. Dishes include falafel, hummus, farmer's salad, butternut squash dip, flatbread (not pictured) stuffed grape leaves, chard and lamb stew, and chicken qidra. ##FreePalestine🇵🇸
