At least, not in the way that going on stackoverflow or github issues or engine-specific forums will teach you. I say if you're trying to make games and don't know what to do- just pull up youtubes and jump in!

But idk when I was a kid learning how to use Renpy I gained some very fundamental skills that have stuck with me all the way through the end of college. Nowadays AI can give you the answer, but I don't think AI can teach you how to search for answers.

A lot of people don't agree with me when I say this but I do think learning coding languages is exactly like learning a foreign language. You learn syntax and vocabulary and you pick up building blocks (eg if-statements and loops and variables) that you need to learn how to piece together-

Also!! I am finally back at my job (bleh) and I can say with pride that I am teaching kids how to code video games again (yay :D). Love it when my actual job ends up being useful for my hobby stuff
