twice today, when pressured, Stripe operators have said, plainly, that i cannot use stripe for the purchase of LGBTQ content. not just adult content, but explicitly LGBTQ.

Gotta say, Stripe customer service just straight up saying "we don't support the sale of any LGBT content" was not on my bingo card for this campaign. Hopefully this will be getting lots of attention from all over soon! Tell any journalists and rights orgs you know about it today!

"Hm, maybe from a glance. I haven't exactly been keeping up any maintenance on it as of late." Her hair has definitely grown a bit, resting somewhere past her shoulders. It almost seems... unkempt. "Tails here just seem to have so much volume. Ms. Mamizou's tail is almost the size of her, I feel."

"Oh, no. My safety was what was being put into question." "But it is something I worry about regardless, especially for her."

"Consider the following: The circumstance that leads to there being too many Renkos around me could be dangerous. Also, I do not want to think about what would happen." "Not from a cosmic perspective, mind you. Just what would happen if there were that many Renkos.

"As someone who has let her hair grow a 𝘣𝘪𝘵 longer than usual, it definitely takes some effort to take care of." "But to take care of a tail, let alone several? I can only imagine how long a routine like that must take."

"Cleaning this Ran plush is certainly a challenge, with all of its tails. I doubt it's even a fraction of the hassle Ran has to go through to clean her own tails, though." "Still not sure how this even ended up here."

". . . an overabundance of Maribel Hearn is a question. What causes such a thing? What is the driving force that separates Renko and I across worlds? Timelines? Even amidst the world we still hold each other close, there is further strife." ". . .an overabundance of Renko is an invasive species-"

🍇They kinda fumbled with some of these, sadly. Alongside Endwalker, they really got lazy with the last of these. Every other alt art is damn near perfect, though

That is the sad world playing Azorius control lives in, as someone who plays Azorius Vehicles. Doesn't help that all of the cards that might proc from something leaving graveyard are at mana value 3 or so.

110

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

That's a fair point. I think it's ability to allow for safer combats while also damn near freely triggering Krile's ability with just the tiniest poke cannot be understated, as well as just how easy it could be to fill the graveyard with such low mana value cards. This could work just as well.

110

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

The value this card makes cannot be understated in a deck like this, one that wants to be drawing noncreatures but throwing creatures into the grave/just bringing them because for their wonderful value

220

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

Sunblessed Healer is also a potentially good option to recur noncreature permanents, especially when you find yourself with too much mana to spare

120

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

Benevolent Geist is also a fun Mana Value 2 counterspell on a stick, with a nice backside as well should you find yourself against someone trying to stop your recursion cycles

110

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

Also I swear I saw Runechanter's Pike in here a moment ago, and if you're running it and don't mind further Universes Beyond stuff, try Glamdring as an upgrade/alternative.

210

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

🍇i was going to write about how terrified i was upon seeing that every card in the deck is mana value 2, and then I saw Gilded Drake. You. You scare me. The fact as well that the usual symmetrical graveyard stax pieces don't hurt the deck is incredible. Makes me want to build Stax.

🍇 I'm a little biased and kinda actually like the stuff built for Commander (besides freerunning, let rogues have that) but jank is what built this format and should be celebrated. The moment people spoke more and more about optimizing, the people forgot what it was about. I'm different though-

110

"Maribel Hearn" @dontmindthegap.bsky.social · 30/05/2025

🍇 many have forgotten that the joy of Commander comes from old cards that do not see play anymore... But I'd love to try it out sometime soon!
