PSA: stop using the word “feral” to mean “homeless animal”. It means 100% unsocialized, un-domesticated. A cat you found outside that warms up to you after a month wasn’t “feral”, it was scared and distrustful, probably from past shitty experiences. But they aren’t feral

A short story: I was just walking home and coming my direction was a person walking their small, elderly dog. The dog sneezed and his person said “bless you” and then looked up with a face of horror that I’d heard them. Personally, I think it was adorable. Say “bless you” to animals when they sneeze
