I’m going to tell a story and brag a little bit. I’ve been struggling with a bladder and kidney infection since Easter. Two rounds of antibiotics and nothing! Last Monday, Ray, my husband, noticed I was acting different. Sleepy, upset belly. By Tuesday afternoon I was out of my mind! 1

I desperately want to throat-punch this year!! 😂 Started with the flu, had a month’s worth of awful flares, lost Demon and had a horrendous UTI and kidney infection over Easter. I’m a tired girl, but I have faith that it’s going to get better!!

I may have lost my best friend because of my illness. She has back pain and deals with migraines and can’t understand why I can’t just push through like she does. She also works out everyday and has the resting heart rate of an athlete. I do not have those things. 1

I turned 51 today and I get to spend it recovering from a spinal treatment, hanging out with Demon! He’s playing Iditarod right now on my deck! He’s too old and chubby to do the mushing bit, the laying down and resting in the snow bit, he excels at 🥰🥰🥰

A sweet, chubby brown and white dog lays in a snowbank and snoozes happily. He’s in one of his happy places. His other is in his bed, watching tv like most middle-aged gents.
