I was attendance/safeguarding lead in a LA until 2011. I raised issues with DfE at various meetings/ events about EHE and the need for registration in the context of children missing education. DfE were, it seemed, running scared of the Education Otherwise lobby.

This is so mistaken and perverse. We need a BAN on driven grouse shooting. Not licensing, which gives a stamp of approval to an activity that will always be destructive and cruel. What is the RSPB for?
