My dad passed away back in 2023, a week before my birthday. I try to make little drawings of him and our family, so we we can celebrating together somewhere, even if in an imaginary 2D space I create! I hope he doesn't get lonely, wherever he is, and that it'sbeautiful and peaceful there!

oh true - because normally the comics drama and discourse I usually come across is either going to heavily depress me about the industry or horrify me because of malicious/predatory behaviour

Dom ⭐️ (he/him) @dommnics.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

I won’t lie - that lit/book community drama and discourse fed me for weeks as listening content while working bc book YouTube was covering it heavily lmao

Finally for my take on Hans Christian Andersen's #TheLittleMermaid story, this is the “prince” character, but in the form of a princess in my version. Since the story has queer origins, it made sense to me to interpret it that way. #MerMay #fairytale #art #illustration #characterdesigns

Continuing with my designs for Hans Christian Andersen's #TheLittleMermaid story, this is my take on the woman who the little mermaid ultimately loses her true love to. I’ve named her Abigail, and I just wanted her to look sweet and doll-like. #MerMay #art #illustration #fairytale
