this week was the two year anniversary of when me and my girlfriend April started dating. i made this piece to celebrate :)

He nods, slowly.

The clouds of the moon loom overhead. He watches for a while as they silently storm.

“But the *truth* is,” he whispers, “even though I look like this...I’m actually a *boy*.”

A cricket jumps up his skirt. He shrieks.
