Panel 06: Zarina looks down, "It's dumb. I'm sorry. I wont bring it up."

The top three panels show Mareen's hands wrapping around Zari's and holding it close. Mareen says " No, it's okay Zari. Please I want to know."

Panel 4: Zarina puts a hand on mareen's top hand and says " I won't matter cause next week it might not even be there. It's just..."

I think eotd the only people writing fully in script format for comics are either writing for other people to better understand what they're going for (stage direction for artists etc etc), or because they personally find it easier to work from. Most ppl prob dont stick to format on their own.

I feel like I saw a bunch of posts from storyboarders saying this is basically how animated shows get their real writing done so I doubt you're alone in that. Also I personally prefer writing in prose so I rarely actually script when I'm writing comic scenes these days.

When I was a kid, maybe 4-5 years old, we visited my grandma’s village. My father’s uncle was showing us around but after walking a couple of hours I got really tired and was doing my best tantrums. My great uncle put me on his donkey, petted him, and told him to bring me home.

I take only grim satisfaction in the number of programmers now going 'oh no, not MY field too' seeing how many STEM/tech guys were loudly dancing on my career's grave when this shit really got going. But it's tough feeling satisfied when we're both being eaten alive by the same shit.

To this day I remain angry that the people who told me I ~had to~ read Larry Niven, Harlan Ellison et al never handed me her books instead. They're incredible. Lilith's Brood trilogy ends with a hell of a left hook I'm still thinking about months later. Heartily recommend.
