Her contribution to DNA was forgotten, but Franklin was not. Franklin was well known for her work on viruses, and her obituary was published in outlets like The New York Times.

Fellow biologists, does this look like a beta-pleated sheet in a protein to you? The figure legend reads, "Schematics showing structures of anti-cancer peptides ... beta-pleated sheet." Just one of the new entries in my collection of academic slop. bit.ly/academic-slop
A slop AI figure described in the text as beta pleated sheets in a peptide which does not look like other depictions of beta-pleated sheets in peptides you will ever see.

Erected 2011 by United States Consulate General - Toronto.
As the United States marks the 10th Anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, in the name of all Americans, Consulate General Toronto thanks the people of Ontario for their support and generosity following the worst attack on Americans since WW II.

The nearly 3,000 innocent victims from ninety countries included twenty-four Canadians. Our friends and family in Ontario, and all of Canada, were with us in our darkest
hour, as you always are. Neither terrorism nor any adversity can conquer free peoples, and we are grateful to stand with the best neighbours any nation ever had.

As together we look back, together we go forward.

We are eternally grateful.

HAAAA HA HA HA HAAAAAH HA HA HA HAHHH (wipes tears from eyes) Sorry, I’ve heard lofty predictions before. From 2022:
Chris Anderson tweet dated that is dated more than three years ago : “Fixing Twitter may be as hard a job as converting Teslas into robotaxis and proving the viability of a
monster rocket capable of taking humanity to Mars. But within three years from today, I predict he will have accomplished all three.”
