I'm not sure if the AAA Minesweeper parody being made with some level of unscrupulously sourced AI-based assistance (that is, of course, not responsibly credited) strengthens the fidelity to the source material or cheapens the mockery it's supposed to inflict. Probably both, more the latter for me.

I know brushing and flossing is supposed to help prevent this but I am considerably less motivated to form the habit if I'm gonna be in mild pain and moderate inconvenience anyway if systemic availability to care is this terrible for anyone who isn't rich or working a job with benefits.

I go to my dentist for a toothache, slightly urgent since there's signs of a mild infection. Their x-ray isn't sufficient & I get referred to the place that did my root canal. But I get scheduled 2 weeks from now & I have to call my dentist back because I didn't get a referral slip. What a joke.

A big saving grace of the playerbase that I recognize here is that they're generally respectful of what should/shouldn't be talked about openly, which is *sometimes* more than can be said about Hypergryph and Yostar marketing. Still salty about post-Ch.15 changes spoiled by a YT thumbnail though.

My parents tried and failed to get me into piano only getting so far as to have me familiar with the bare basics of reading music, but suddenly I find myself missing the digital keyboard that I have no space for now but might've made this task considerably easier.

For ages the only thing comparable to a music making software I've ever used in my life would be Mario Paint but I've had an idea these past few days that would necessitate a saxophone that I don't have nor know how to play. Anyone know of any software cheap & easy enough to use for a one-off bit?

The inherent incentive to P U L L is baked into the business model, so that's not going away anytime soon. What remains true is that Arknights has been built from the ground up to respect its own gameplay first, and it continues to pay dividends no matter how...'engaged' the audience ends up being.

It's even funnier that fully unplugging was the solution too because I had tried turning my power supply off and on again to fix a different issue days before, and that didn't work here. All of this to say, learn how the things you own work! Even just the basics could save your stuff like this.

My CPU cooler decided to stop doing it's job this morning and I thought I'd be doomed to replace it...until I thought to unplug the power supply to presumably let the capacitors completely reset. I am so thankful I know at least even a little bit on how my hardware works because good grief.

Biggest thing for me about meta units is that they allow for wider margins of error. The uncharitable way to interpret this is obvious, but the flip side of the coin is that the power enables faster experimentation with less optimal strategies and teammates, especially when playing guideless.

When the OG title is not only still online but also coming out with solid content that goes hard with existing lore and remixing gameplay, it's hard for me to care about the sister title with (what I see as) filler-padded updates, weaker presentation/writing, and generic & languishing core gameplay.

Originally, I was excited to see The Gryph do what they did for AK again: make a genuine standout title that has a unique blend of genres and gameplay I can't get anywhere else while being compelling enough for me to like it in spite of it being a gacha. Endfield still seems to not be that for me.

Ironically enough, even though I think a good handful of the upcoming updates and content for Endfield look great, I feel like I'm better off waiting for the game to be fully realized than to keep up with it as a live service. I dropped off around 1.4, and I haven't had the urge since.

I've always been thinking and saying this. Social media has always been a force multiplier and it always will be. It just never discriminates on what kind of force it multiplies, and as it turns out, collective humanity has quite a bit of malign forces to multiply given the chance.

I think everything else hasn't been meaningfully multiplayer except Bastion Defense - turns out big maps and speed-RA base-building does warrant 2-player APM and I wish AK was an RTS proper b/c of it.

Definitely not something to take for granted. You can check my survey history and see that I have consistently advocated for it so that when the time comes, it's not a whole lossy fiasco with grievous preservation challenges. And I've already been burned with Dragalia and my childhood f2p MMOs.

Man's been cooking, who are we to question the chef's long term vision? It's also been interesting from an OSRS player perspective since jagex is also pretty reactive to major Opinion Havers even with their recently upgraded polling system that sees slightly less use than before (for good reason)

New seasonal content genre unlocked: Sock Stacks Clears for 8 hours (the time discrepancy is because I had to go to bed and go to work in between starting and ending the run)

An Ultimate Simulation end screen that cleared Hidden Core with Pith Strategy. All activated alliances are max stacked and the run took 17 hours to complete (except for the fact that I had to take a break in between so the actual run was more like 8 hours)

This turned into a 6 hour stream and I didn't even finish the run yet, gonna do so in just a bit. The goal is now max stacks all cores and fully buffed Pith Student. Reviewed the bans from the VOD - gonna need a lot of Ashlocks and Alliance juggling, but I think I can make it happen.
