New seasonal content genre unlocked: Sock Stacks Clears for 8 hours (the time discrepancy is because I had to go to bed and go to work in between starting and ending the run)

An Ultimate Simulation end screen that cleared Hidden Core with Pith Strategy. All activated alliances are max stacked and the run took 17 hours to complete (except for the fact that I had to take a break in between so the actual run was more like 8 hours)

This turned into a 6 hour stream and I didn't even finish the run yet, gonna do so in just a bit. The goal is now max stacks all cores and fully buffed Pith Student. Reviewed the bans from the VOD - gonna need a lot of Ashlocks and Alliance juggling, but I think I can make it happen.

#Arknights Laterano easily took me the longest because their lopsided roster coupled with the lack of viable in-house stack scaling and less multiplicative damage multipliers means I lost IRL sanity working on this one. But if you still want to blast the screen with Lemuen nukes, there are ways.

#Arknights I tried max stack "Yan" once. It took me about 50 resets from bad bans and 5 more from my own incompetence. You do not need to spend 2 hours and get double-dragons to have an actual good Yan run. But there are some good habits to learn from having tried to do so.

In unrelated OSRS news, I got a funny green spider stick and finished my Desert Elite diary by flinching Kalphite Queen with a mage Salamander. Bittersweet milestone for me, tbh. I'm behind on my schedule for SPA guide releases, much less my normal video pipeline. There's been times where I've wanted to quit altogether. But doing this is still a decent way to channel my passions, frustrations, and creativity into something.

I never noticed this on my Mario Kart flight jacket until now and I'm not sure if this feels more like a brand patch or a stylized threat:

So I did a little Zima Alter testing with Stainless, Nasti, and RA. The results? [in my best Ursus accent] Horosho, davai davai, I have great plans for you, blin. Mind can already hear hardbass montage in style of Life of Boris. This powercreep very fun, very smart, da. (full details in alt text)

A freshly minted E2Lv1 Zima the Raging Tide on my account, at Skill level 7.

RA test map with Zima Alter smashing with her last hit of her S3 on a Stainless turret, extending the chain effect of her high ground splash. This works on natural non-deployable high ground, manually placed deployable high ground from RA, Nasti's deployable high ground, and the splash radius can tag the surrounding 8 tiles of the turret. Urban-style barriers that change pathfinding but are not deployable do not get this splash.

Zima Alter on S2, fully surrounded by talent-splashable RA craftable tiles bashing a Stainless turret. Not only can she potentially fully charge the Stainless turret in 1 swing from the shockwaves (it's a little inconsistent, but 2 autos should do it), she gains a massive +7 SP from the S2's passive, charging the otherwise long 50 second charge time in a mere 8 auto-attacks or 14.4 seconds before accounting for automatic SP generation. Crazy laneholding potential against chaff in a straight narrow lane.

Some folks don't like how the early EN voices of Arknights have a distinct lack of regional accents resulting in Nearl, Amiya, Eyja, and other expatriates not sounding like their Terran country of origin. That's fair, but even if it's just a product of IRL factors, I think they still made it work.
