When this is burned, uniting with oxygen, it adds about 7,000,000,000 tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere yearly. This tends to make the air a more effective blanket for the earth and to raise its temperature. This effect may be considerable in a few centuries.

Changes in global land temperatures (60 degrees S - 60 degrees N) relative to a 1901-1930 baseline (degrees C). Two charts, one from Guy Callendar in 1938 showing earth warming over the first three decades of the 20th century, due to what he called the CO2 effect. The second chart overlays Callendar's 1938 data with his data from the 60s, and modern data from 2021. showing he had it right at the time.

There is a fatal flaw in this decision. The Alabama primary is May 19. The deadline to file to be a candidate in the primary was January 23. The Supreme Court just broke Alabama elections. How can there be no way to dispute this illegal, unconstitutional, partisan ruling?

Deadline to file as a candidate for Representative: AL: Jan 23. FL: Jun 12. LA: Feb 13. TN: Mar 10. VA: May 25. That's enough to invalidate any new redistricting, at least in AL, LA, and TN.

Exactly! No matter how much you want to, it's way too late to change voting districts. In many cases, it's past the deadline to register as a candidate in the primaries (while in some cases voting has already begun). Duh, this is exactly why the Purcell Principle exists.

Changing election rules close to an election is a blatant violation of the SCOTUS Purcell Principle. Redistricting after the deadline to declare your candidacy for a primary election seems to be 100% clear on that principle.
