Now that I'm home and also unpacked from WorldCon, let me share the thing that may have really saved me this trip! My NEW hard shell suitcase! I did overestimate & buy one too big for a carry on, (but I did find a loophole for checked bags)! Stickers cuz I needed folks to know it was my shit!

Taking a break from this Con cuz soooo much walking but fam, in this pic, is a room where kids are whacking each other with foam tube thingies while wearing inflatable tubes and I am glad they are inside their glass containment vessel! Also being a kid is awesome!

My first set of dice was from the old AD&D Red Box. I bought it at Sears back in like the early-mid 80's. These days, I like to keep it relatively simple with the sort of dice pictured. I've used to cool, fancy, metal or stone dice. I'm not a fan of the texture/sound. I LOVE looking at then tho!

This is a container of my six sided dice, mostly in a variety of frosted colors!

Can confirm! Here's a Dr. Mid-Nite commission a friend got me as a birthday gift a few years back!

It's Dr. Mid-Nite, a DC Comics hero from the Golden Age. It's a black and white inked drawing of the character by legendary artist, Ramona Fradon, who is retiring from doing commissions at the age of 97!

Dr. Mid-Nite is looking at you from behind his goggles and his trusty owl is perched on his wrist.

They are framed by a full moon behind them.

It's pretty rad!

An iceberg graphic of bands I apparently have listened to a lot, sorted by popularity of band, which is why Metallica is at the top, followed by Pink Floyd, but Southern Empire, an Australian prog rock collective with a rotating cast, is at the bottom!

It has to be the Maxwell Street Polish which is just Polish Sausage with Mustard and Grilled Onions on a Steamed Bun! Its a South Side culinary institution in Chicago! I once created a sandwich as an Italian Combo alternative by adding it to a Gyros! Fucking Amazing! I don't eat deep dish.

Terry is telling the world that the Maxwell Street Polish is his favorite Chicago food...and he also once created a glorious horror food that you have to try!

He doesn't have a least favorite food...except pizza with cornmeal crust.
