Once again, he has pretty much pressed every correct button since he got there. As for *why* he did it, well, plenty of hockey talking heads have said they disagree with the call/review. IOW I don't think it was a Grand Canyon leap. I'm just glad he was wrong and the Canes made him pay for it.

The opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. And most of NC is entirely apathetic when it comes to Charlotte. No one east of US 1 or west of 321 gives the slightest flip about the Queen City. A lesson often learned when CLT mayors run for statewide office.

DJTJ's wedding is in the Bahamas. International Presidential travel, even a trip that short, would have been weeks in preparation. Orange Julius was never planning on going. It's not some last-minute situation that requires his presence in DC.

It's all grievance and self-aggrandizement. Trump's endorsement to vote *for* someone doesn't mean much (see Phil Berger) but his urging to vote *against* someone for wronging *him* always plays with the base. Curious to see what bump Paxton gets since Trump didn't really attack Cornyn.
