D&D physical stuff is cool, like wooden character trackers and journals with character sheets right in them. But, like, where's all the cool stuff for other TTRPGs? Or at least "generics" to work with multiple systems? 😭 (I know it's because D&D is the most popular TTRPG, and been around forever)

Now, why *not* to do this: players may need to learn new subsystems to play a game, and may not want to. It then becomes finding games with the exact mix of rulesets you want to play, instead of just "I want to play {{system_name_here}}"

You want more interesting persuasion systems? Add it in. You want a different magic system? Swap it out. You want a better downtime system? Do it up. More RP focused? Add better RP-focused-game rules. More combat focused? Add more hardcore or detailed combat mechanics.

Start with a base-attribute set, like the Str/Dex/Con/Int/Wis/Cha set everyone probably knows Add skill designations, that pair with the attribute set, like D&D 5/5.5e's, Pathfinder 2e's, Starfinder 2e's, etc. Add combat action economy Add weapons and magic Add classes and subclasses/derivations

If you think about it, TTRPGs are basically just different rulesets stitched together through a similar attribute system. So why not a modular TTRPG system?

I like D&D/Pf2e/Sf2e/TTRPG's and all, playing and watching. But I simply cannot consume all that content *and* expect to get other work and stuff done. I almost need like more abridged versions or Vox Machina-like shows. I simply do not have 3 hours x 30+ episodes, per campaign, per AP group.
