Acts of Mercy feels like a classic Witcher story - lots of fun writing and character beats in this season. One more audiobook down, next up will be Haunted, hopefully in time for Halloween I guess! #destiny2 youtu.be/LbyJdD8p61I?...

To everyone who has ever worked on Destiny: You made something beautiful and wonderful, filled with hope and stories. I cherish it and will be forever grateful that I got the chance to experience it. Thank you. #destiny2

Screen shot from Destiny 2 of the player character standing in the tower overlooking the last city holding a candle. Thank you to all the people who worked on Destiny. You are loved. Your work is loved. I am so sorry this happened to you. You deserved better. Thank you for making something beautiful.

Fuck everything about how the people who actually made Destiny have been treated. People who delivered against clearly incredible odds, time and time again, for us as Destiny players. Really hoped I was wrong about my gut reaction to the news of EoS - fuck this industry. youtu.be/EY6PQbFpW5U?...

Destiny didn’t fall short of expectations, LEADERSHIP did. Some of the most out of touch people who only saw the $ & held a beloved franchise to the coals because it didn’t fit their margins. Devs suffocated under the immeasurable weight of their greed. Everyone who has worked there deserves better.

Saying one of the most prolific live service titles “fell short of expectations” in a massive layoff announcement is a slap in the face to every dev and every player who knows how much Destiny meant in an industry where longevity is rare. Whose expectations did it fail? The investors? The execs?

I didn't think Destiny 2 could deliver another Shadowkeep Pyramid reveal moment but you and the team absoloutely delivered that for me in the Edge of Fate, in that final mission - wish we could have seen out the Fate Saga as you envisioned it. Narrative team have worked miracles all these years.

The sheer quality of the writing, working within the many, many constraints of Destiny as a game, has always kept me coming back. Every lore book, the armour sets, the side characters, the creativity has been so enjoyable all these years. Thank you for the beautiful sendoff for Rasputin.

Can we clarify what the exact nature of the Renegades/Star Wars link is? Is it just inspired thematically or are we like going to interact with actual Star Wars characters/locations as the latter is the impression that's been given and if that's not the case it would be good to clarify.

Had a bunch of comments on my Classic Marathon video complaining about the new game not being something they want to play because of the genre. We've known that its an extraction shooter for 2 years now, but more fool me for thinking people uninterested in that would have moved on with their lives.

Quote from Arrowhead studios: "A game for everyone is a game for no one" and a soyjak agrees "So True!"

Quote from Bungie "This game is not for everyone." And a crying angry soyjak reacts.
