The Clash - Clampdown (Official Audio)

i've listened to london calling enough times that i can recognize when clampdown comes up on shuffle just from the timbre of the feedback at the beginning. (goated song on an album literally full of them btw) www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lt4...

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

I try to hammer this home in the unfortunately many conversations I have with non-creative normies about the state of games, animation, etc. They have all been lead to think AI is replacing us, and it’s just not true. The money people have by and large just tossed us aside for a shiny new toy!

its a vibe more than anything but spurred by playing Super Castlevania IV, a game that is ugly in a uniquely snes type of way

headfallsoff @headfallsoff.com · 25/09/2026

the average snes game looks better than the average genesis game, but an ugly snes game looks worse than an ugly genesis game

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

That's cool. I'm sure all the BitReactor devs that were furloughed weeks before launch are gonna see some of that $50 million... right? Residuals are standard in other creative industries. If the people who actually made the game got their share of the profits, we wouldn't be in this mess.

I only saw it for the first time a couple years ago and it was so obvious that it was a class above 99% of other anime. Also saw the movie in its recent theatrical run and it kicked ass!!

As Order of the Sinking Star is coming out next month, in advance of review coverage coming in I wanted to add one thing to my last statement about the game: bsky.app/profile/drak... (note: at that time I didn’t have a separate personal account)

people are always saying anti-AI arguments don’t understand the full nuances of the technology. which is correct. but only because it stole everyone’s work, exists solely to get you fired, has made the entire internet unusable and has been forced on everyone without consent

Now that everyone has turned on Ed Sheeran I finally feel comfortable saying this: you shouldn’t be allowed to get a bunch of tattoos if you’re a musician who makes wuss music

they generally let me play/watch whatever but got squeamish when i wanted to buy GTA3. at the EB my dad caved and said "don't tell your mom" (imo this was fake concern and she wouldn't have cared but w/e) which was enough to guilt me into buying FFX instead. an outcome i am ultimately glad for!

btw Kanye did a song Heil Hitler and no one stepped in to oppose his tour(s), which is ongoing. In fact, Kanye is scheduled to perform at one of the stadiums Macklemore has been stopped from being at.

Yo. This is the union calling for a boycott. Here in America people like to say "Well I was already boycotting Starbucks!" No you were not. You were just choosing not to buy their stuff. That is not a boycott. A boycott is an organized, collective activity. "I" don't boycott: we do.

nick jumped into dev ops with very little initial assistance, and now we have a full build fleet. he was also ko_op's internal historian and park cheese guru. when i drove to mtl to meet everyone irl, he handed me a bottle of (i think) la fin du monde, which immediately made me feel welcome.

thanks for the kind words Kevin!🙏

charlit is a super skilled artist who took everything we threw at her with joy and enthusiasm. incredibly good vibes as a person, i remember how much energy her presence gave the team once she hopped on (including things like her legendary ko-working gifs, an example of which you can see below).

alex has a deep, pure love of what he does that i'm not sure i've ever seen before. if you see a 3d asset moving around in Young Suns, that was him. and this was his first job in games! he has so much room to grow still [positive].

060

ellen is soooo sick. the speed with which they can whip up evocative, charismatic concepts and assets is completely ridiculous, and they're also a very sensitive and kind team lead.

071

thank you Sarah!!! has been an honor to work with you and I actually would be really interested in doing more of this!

(thank for the kind words also ❤️)

appreciate this a lot!!! thanks max ❤️
