It's been years, but I am still waiting for something to come along and dethrone this product from the high pedestal on which it sits in my head. Simultaneously, it managed to be 1) truly hilarious, 2) incredibly hipstery, and 3) a colossal grift

How about something fun and cute to switch things up? These are our voids, Blackberry and Huckleberry. Both were foster fails, though 3 years apart. While they aren't biological siblings, they are clearly family. Since Huck arrived, they have been almost completely inseparable. I love them.

I keep two office chairs at my desk because Blackberry always wants to occupy whatever chair I was using last, and if I didn’t always have a backup chair, I’d never be able to sit down. Sometimes he senses what’s coming and hops back and forth between chairs.

For my wedding, I decided to stamp all 150+ name cards by hand with a wax seal, and then procrastinated until around 11pm the night before. Thankfully @pidge.bsky.social instantly saw how screwed I would be, and sped up the process 4x by setting up what looked like a heroin den in the bathroom.

Inside a hotel bathroom, multiple wax seals are being melted at once on burners made from soda cans cut in half. It looks extremely shady.

I absolutely love the custom adhesive wax seals I ordered from stamptitude.com for Anya's and my wedding thank-you cards. Not quite as cool as stamping the melted wax yourself, but far more efficient.
