I love this concept so much. The climate changes in Chicago might make these cost effective up to seven months of the year, whereas 15 years ago, it might have been five at best. Also depends on whether your home is shaded by buildings/trees.

Authors, this is the real reason why followers don’t comment on your book posts as much as your other posts. (FYI: I’m a former copywriter/ad agency creative director. Eight years of that and two years in PR. This is what my intuition tells me.)

Authors: this is the real reason why people don’t comment on your book posts.

This is normal. When followers see a book cover or description, what are they supposed to say? They probably haven't read it yet.

They can say, "Oooh! Pretty colors!" Or maybe, "Is it gory?" And that's about it.

It's the online version of an awkward introduction at your sister's wedding.
"How do you know the groom?"
"He used to be my boyfriend."
"?"

See? What do you say to that?
