When you're Black, you're constantly reminded of how many things are excluded to you. But you develop a cultural literacy and perhaps a sensitivity. If a white person wants to learn about African-American discourse, let them do the labor on their own and learn. We don't have to translate.

Most of her methods were very ancestral (she’s an IFA Priestess) and Afrocentric. I understand why the general public thought it was funny (i did too at times) but in hindsight, it’s very needed. I would however add reframe how she goes about saying certain things due to causing harm etc
