Little update for those who were curious: Mochi had her vet visit and unfortunately the doc said it’s a tumor. So she’s going under into surgery next Thursday! So good vibes and wishes are appreciated for the little marshmallow cause part of her paw is gonna be amputated to get the growth removed 🩹

Hello my Godlings! 🥰

As some of you may know, I'm semi-back from my hiatus and that's because I've had some medical procedures done but I took a break for my mental health too. I only took a month off because I have way too many responsibilities IRL and things that I promised you all in this community as a whole, so I was still around, handling as much as I could.

Months before my break, I had some chronic pain that I just kept ignoring because I knew that if I went to the hospital, they were gonna suggest surgery or "procedures" of some kind and I just couldn't afford it. I have some life long injuries that will be with me forever (some of you have experienced this while in VC with me) and I, like many people, have a hard enough time trying to choose between rent/bills, food, clothing, etc and I didn't think twice about what I needed to do. I chose to deal with the pain to make sure my little one had everything she needed.

Unfortunately, there was a time that I couldn't ignore the pain anymore. It got to a point where I was unable to get out of my bed to do the things that I could normally do with no problem. I consulted a doctor and was told that if I didn't do something about my condition now, it would only get worse and I wouldn't be able to care for myself or my daughter. I was terrified so I got the surgery/procedures done. I felt so much better afterwards and was told to take it easy for my recovery.

In order to pay for the procedure I had done, I had to tap into some savings that I had stashed away for my little one in case something happened to me, something that I told myself I would never do no matter what. I don't want her to suffer because of the things that I've been dealt. If you have anything to spare, a share or a repost, that would be greatly appreciated. For the last 2 years I have been living in Boston with my roommate. The day after we signed to renew the lease on our shared apartment, they got accepted into Penn State and are now planning to move there. They are already looking for someone to take over our lease.
There's no way I will be able to stay in Boston.

This leaves me with a few options.

Option 1)
My roommate is planning to rent a 2
bedroom apartment in Pennsylvania, and would be fine with me living there with them for a year if l can find a job in the area. After a year I would be expected to move out since they want to live on their own without roommates. If this happens I could most likely get by on my own between a job, patreon supporters and commissions since rent is cheaper.

Option 2)
If I could find a high paying job in Ohio, I could move in with my grandmother in Cleveland.
This isn't really ideal since I would have to leave the house on days my dad visits her.
Option 3)
I'm being heavily pressured to move back in with my mom who would give me 3 months to find a job in Ohio. If I can't find a job within that time frame l'd likely be unhoused once the 3 months are up. Going back to that house would be bad for a number of reasons: less privacy, less ability to talk to people, and it's an extremely abusive environment.

Right now, I'm saving as much money as I can to prepare for this. Any help finding employment in Pennsylvania or Ohio would be greatly appreciated.
I would be totally ok living on my own as long as I can support myself financially. I need to save for covering the first/last months rent on a new apartment, moving costs, debt, monthly expenses, etc.
I'm really hoping in the next few years I can find stable long term housing instead of having to repeat this song and dance every year.
