In April this year at a medical conference (ASCO 2026), results of a drug improving overall survival in patients with #PancreaticCancer received a standing ovation - almost unheard of. Exciting to see the RAS inhibitor #daraxonrasib now approved by the FDA for metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. 🧪

Young son of a colleague is 100 days into a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) requiring many blood transfusions. When people ask what they can do she says "Give blood". Grant rejoinders: Avoid using comments from a +ve Assessor to rebut another Assessor who is more critical of aspects of your proposal. For assessors, it’s easier to say something is great than spend time detailing issues. Responses need to come from your deep knowledge of your proposal. #grants 🧪
